You are dear to me.
I give you
Hair from my head
Words from my mouth
Blood from within me
You have my essences, my life force; I am one with you.
These emanations of my body and of my soul are one with the leaf mould and the waters and the mosses of this place. The soul of this place. We mingle. I am one with you.
If you're happy to talk about it I'd be very interested to hear more about your blood sacrifices... For me when blood has been given it has never been my own choice but I've often felt it was taken as dues. This hasn't happened to me often outside but I have come to expect that if I want to carve anything I will pay a toll for it with my own blood.
ReplyDeleteI don't think of it as a sacrifice , more an offering. Is there a difference? I'm not sure. But if you want me to develop this a bit I'll mail you.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about 'dues' though.
